Q: |
Are wind deflectors neccessary? |
|
A: |
Not in all areas. Moisture and hot air will rise naturally without a deflector. However, in high wind or coastal areas, they are neccessary to help prevent water or snow from entering in the house through the vent. |

How can I prevent ice dams? |
